About Iguana House

Chris and Mary Alice have built Iguana House to be a home away from home for anglers of all skill levels. It’s not a rigid, bells-and-whistles lodge — but one that caters to both DIY and guided flats fishing for anglers of all skill levels. Above all, Iguana House offers a positive, educational environment for anglers on their quests for permit, bonefish, tarpon, and more.

You can fish with world-class guides, explore on your own, and settle into a rhythm that feels natural. That freedom is rare— and one of the main reasons we love this place.

GUIDED TRIPS AT IGUANA HOUSE

About Guided Trips

Iguana House offers a few different configurations of guided fishing experiences out of their home base on Ambergris Caye, Belize.

On guided days, you’ll fish from a panga with exceptional local guides, targeting permit, bonefish, tarpon, and more across a network of flats, reefs, and lagoons. On off days, you’re free to fish on your own — prospecting for the “Big Three” by golf cart or on foot, at your own pace.

That balance is what makes Iguana House special. You get the benefit of local knowledge, without giving up the freedom to wander, experiment, and fish how you want.
