#03 Max Beck | College Guide Turned Fly Shop Owner

In this episode, Max Beck joins me to talk about guiding in college, lessons he's learned from fly fishing, and taking over Due South Outfitters. 2020 has been an amazing year for Max as he graduated college, became the owner of Due South Outfitters, and even got married! He's a stand-up guy and one badass guide. I had a lot of fun hearing about his upbringing and what lead him to fishing and eventually how he landed at App State. In his college years, he spent almost more time on the water than he did in class while still maintaining a top tier GPA. His growth as an angler happened quite exponentially during college which truly exemplifies the importance of Time On the Water.
